The sun peaked through for the 2018 Sunset Soirée at the Leighton Art Centre in Millarville! The event was a preview for the Leighton Art Centre’s Clothesline Festival and Art Sale and ran from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, June 1st, 2018. Occurring on the beautiful Leighton property with live music, artwork from local artists, appetizers from Black Apron Cuisine and wine and spirit tasting from various distilleries and breweries. Note that the sales from the tickets purchased for the event will go towards supporting the heritage home Museum and Art Gallery and the year-round programming, including access for thousands of young school children for field trips or summer camps every year.

 

The actual Clothesline Festival and Art Sale will occur on Saturday, June 2nd at 10 AM until 4 PM and Sunday, June 3rd at the same times. Admission and parking will be completely free! It is a wonderful chance to get some beautiful affordable art so make sure that you don't miss out! Make sure you pack a picnic lunch or try something new from the local food vendors on site. Bring friends or family to make the event a joyous one!
