With the return of Summer it also means the return to watering days.

High River implements their seasonal water conservation - level 2 - starting this Friday, July 8th.

This means rotating weekly waters days will be in effect.

The town is divided into three sections showcasing which days you can water your lawn.

This does not include regular hand watering of gardens, flowers, trees and shrubs.

You can still fill your swimming pool, hot tub or for other recreational activity and this does include the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex along with the Spray Park.

All watering times are from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Here are the areas that will be affected and the days you can water your lawn:

  • SW High River = Monday and Thursday
  • SE High River = Tuesday and Friday
  • NW/NE High River = Wednesday and Saturday

It's expected the 'Water Conservation Level 2' will be in effect until the Fall unless current circumstances change.
