A quartet of Calgary Stampeders or former Stampeders players are heading to the CFL Hall of Fame.

The man who led the Stamps to Grey Cups as a Coach and G.M. in 1992, 2008, 2014 and again in 2018, along with quarterbacking the stamps from 1976 to 1979, John Hufnagel, leads the way.

Former Stamps QB, Henry Burris, who guided the Stamps to the 2008 Grey Cup is also headed to the hall.

13 year Stampeder offensive lineman, Fred "The Big Chill" Childress, joins the club as does former Stamps quarterback and U-of-C Dino's star Greg Vavra, who led the Dino's to their first Vanier Cup championship in 1983.

Vavra suited up for the Stamps for two of his five CFL seasons in 1984 and 1985 before winding up his career with stints in B.C. and Edmonton.
