Okotoks product Charlie Power has re-signed with the Calgary Stampeders.

The running back missed last season with a torn Achilles, but played in 85 regular-season games and nine post-season games with the Stamps from 2014-19.

Power's had 70 special-teams tackles, three forced fumbles and three blocked punts as well as seven catches for 37 yards in his career.

He's also won two Grey Cups as a member of the Stamps.

Power thanked GM John Hufnagel and coach Dave Dickinson for having faith in him after the injury and says his rehab is going well with his goal is to be ready for training camp.
