A handful of local teams are off to provincials in High School Volleyball.
The Oilfield Drillers will host the 2A Senior boys championships in Black Diamond but they'll have some company locally.
The Strathcona Tweedsmuir boys while hosting zones in DeWinton over the weekend took the 2A South Central Zone banner taking out Banff in the finals.
It was a double banner weekend for the Spartans as the Junior Varsity girls and boys won zones as well.
As for the 4A Senior zones, the Holy Trinity Academy Knights girls took out the Foothills Composite Falcons in the 4A zone finals at the Comp, while the Knight boys also were able to dethrone the Falcon boys.
4A Provincials are in Red Deer at Lindsay Thurbur High School. They get underway Thursday as do the 2A Provincials at Oilfields.
