There's a Heat Warning in place in Foothills County, and it will likely stick around all weekend.

Heat Warnings are issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) when daytime highs of 29 degrees and over are combined with overnight lows near 14 degrees.

The current forecast shows temperatures of at least 30 degrees are expected through to Tuesday, with the highest daytime temperature being 36 degrees on Saturday.

People planning outdoor activities are advised to consider rescheduling to cooler hours, take frequent breaks, stay hydrated, and ensure children and pets are not left in vehicles.
