A busy summer of filming in High River continues this week.

The town is letting people know about some filming taking place from now until July 19 from "Bear and Pear Productions."

Reportedly, the production is HBO's adaptation of the video game "The Last of Us."

The series will star Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, Game of Thrones) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) and is set to film in various Alberta locations this summer.

Filming in High River will mostly take place at night, with crews setting up near the CP rail tracks and along Emerson Drive and 9th Ave.

You might hear some sounds from the set, and a few traffic disruptions are expected.
