A single-engine plane crashed near the High River regional airport just before 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon (Aug 11).
RCMP say the single-engine prop plane had two people on board.
Two people were treated on-site, and both were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Another pilot who was trying to land at about the same time said the plane landed short of the runway.
He made another pass and said the pilot of the downed aircraft waved to let him know he was alright.
The incident happened east of the High River Regional Airport, located at the end of Gordon Jones Way.
