The Sheppard Family Park Society is just one of many non-profit groups looking to the Town of High River for financial help.
President of the park's society Carol Knox says they've been told council is making some changes.
"There's going to be a new budget and a new way of directing requests from all the not-for-profit groups, they're trying to, my understanding is they're trying to create a cohesive approach so that all groups are clear on how they go about requesting funds, so that's coming."
The new approach isn't in place yet so the society awaits further instructions moving forward.
Town council has been dealing with the 2023 budget since August.
