It's Seniors' Week in Alberta and the towns of Okotoks and High River both have a slate of events and activities in store.

Okotoks is starting off the week with its first pancake breakfast of the year from 7:30-11:00 a.m. at the Foothills Centennial Centre. All ages are welcome, and there'll be live music.

Later in the day, a Seniors' Afternoon Tea Party is being held, featuring coffee, tea, pink lemonade, and entertainment provided. A link to RSVP can be found on the town's website.

For the rest of the week, there'll be fitness classes each weekday at the Recreation Centre.

In High River, seniors are invited for coffee and a chat with town council at the FCSS Resource Centre on Monday, June 5 from 10-11 a.m.

Seniors can also take a ride on the "Cycling Without Age Trishaw" at the Resource Centre from 10-12.

The following days include coffee, Tai Chi, Pickleball, a "Grandparents Stay & Play," and more.
