What is a healthy relationship?

If you're not sure or you are in an unhealthy relationship, Rowan House Society has an in-person course for women.

They're bringing back the 'Healthy Relationship Group for Women' program starting in May.

Ally Cramm, with Rowan House says the free course covers a lot.

"What healthy relationships and domestic abuse are, the impacts of abuse and coping skills, how it affects our children. And then things like self-esteem and setting healthy boundaries moving forward and the resources that are available."

Cramm also explains that you might not even know if you're in a healthy or unhealthy relationship the program is for all women.

"Primarily for women in the community who may be struggling in a relationship, they don't necessarily have to identify it as abuse but if they just feel that something's just kind of 'off' then this six-week group may be really helpful for them to identify that and understand what may be going on for them."

The first course starts on May 6th and the group meet Wednesday's from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
