Okotoks is set to see The Rolling Barrage make its way through town Wednesday, August 19.

The Rolling Barrage is a coast to coast motorcycle convoy to raise awareness for PTSD in veterans and first responders.

Alberta Volunteer for Rolling Barrage Carola Singer, says the convoy will be spend most of the day going through Okotoks.

"It's actually our second year coming through Okotoks, We'll be heading in from Jasper."

Singer says this year's ride is important because of everything happening in the world.

"We felt this year it was more important than ever because mental health is at the forefront and with everything that has been happening over the last few months we wanted to show support for our frontline workers."

Funds will be raised by registration fees, Singer says anyone can ride they don't have to be veterans or frontline workers.
