Calgary's Dustin Risdon had to duck some bad weather and even a bear or two, but in the end he was lights out on day two of the PGA of Alberta Championships at Canmore's Stewart Creek.

Risdon had four birdies on the back nine to pull away from the pack as he shot a seven-under 64 on day two of the tournament to win by three strokes over Mike Belbin from the Royal Mayfair.

Risdon takes home a cheque for $5,800.

Cottonwood's Dan McIntosh was the only local pro to make the money list, as he finished in a six-way tie for 25th spot taking home $360.

The tour heads north next week for the Alberta Club Pro Championship at the Edmonton Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
