Remembrance Day ceremonies in Vulcan will be virtual this year.

It will be livestreamed on the Vulcan Legion's Facebook page and through their website.

Rev. Gordon Cranch will be hosting the ceremony from inside the Legion as he will read the names of local fallen soldiers as well as any vets that have passed away this year.

The ceremony will start around 10:45 a.m.

 

Champion will once again hold their Remembrance Day ceremony outdoors due to COVID restrictions.

The ceremony starts at 10:50 a.m. on November 11 at the cenotaph across from the Royal Canadian Legion.

There will be a laying of some wreaths along with a playing of The Last Post and some bagpipes will also be played.

The Champion Legion will be livestreaming it on their Facebook page.

If you want to observe the ceremony you are welcome to attend but you are encouraged to wear a mask and give yourself six feet between others.
