The Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex in High River is combining its Fall programs with its Winter programs for the first time.

Tracy Morgan, Recreation Supervisor with the Town of High River at the Rec Plex said all the information can be found on the website.

"Go to [www.highriver.ca], see all the new classes coming up. Also, something a little different that we did this year, we actually have our programs going right through till Winter. You can actually register for Winter programs right now."

They have a wide variety of classes and programs available too.

"So, we have Zumba step, yoga sculpt, we have stretch and roll, barre, we have self-defense, kung-fu, drum fitness, sit strong, lots of classes."

You can book online via a link on their website, call them at 403-652-4042, or stop by the service desk between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Morgan was also thrilled with how popular the youth programming has become.

"That Youth program has really exploded over the last few years. You know, that is the age group that we wanted to target. We have our after-school programs for 6 to12 year olds from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and then that youth program is doing so well. For $2 kids can come over after school and just hang out and play sports."

They also have a free Youth Day planned for November 17 with an Open House coming up on the 21st.
