The High River RCMP are hosting another information session.

It's their second of three 'Community Consultative' meetings planned for the community.

Cst. Jill Kingdon-Mills says it's coming up next week and it's not just the RCMP who will be attending.

"So, it's Tuesday January 17th. It's going to be at the Full Gospel church from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. but also [Fire] Chief Zebedee is going to be there as well as a couple of representatives from the fire department and protective services."

Kingdon-Mills says all respectful questions and concerns are welcomed "

"If there's a problem, we want to know. If we don't know about a problem in our community, we can't address it.  Any information and feedback does help us to deliver the best service we can to the community of High River and that goes for us as the RCMP, Protective Services and the Fire service as well.

Their last meeting was for residents of north High River back on November 29, 2022.

Another meeting is being planned for the business community, but a date has yet to be confirmed.
