Claresholm RCMP have re-opened the corner of 49th Avenue and 1st Street West after a suspicious package was reported.
The Town of Claresholm made a social media post on their Facebook page alerting residents at 3:00 p.m. on Friday May 12.
A Canine unit and the RCMP Explosive Disposal unit were called in to assist in the investigation.
It appears a suitcase was abandoned on the corner and was found to only contain clothing.
RCMP have since cleared the scene.
