With last years record flooding, the province has taken steps to ensure the same problems don't happen again.
The government has formed a flood risk management committee to travel around the province and make recommendations about flood prone areas.
Highwood MLA George Groeneveld is the chairman of the committee.
He says municipalities have to take some changes into consideration and perhaps put in restriction, like no basements in flood prone areas.
One recommended change by the province is that damage in flood prone areas will not be covered.
