Heading into his third season with the Calgary Stampeders, Okotoks native Charlie Power is starting to see his role expanded.

Normally a special teams regular, Power saw a lot of action filling in for injured fullback Tim St. Pierre in Friday's last second win over the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

Power says it's the most action he's ever seen in a regular season game, and despite a strong outing, knows he's still got work to do.

"There was some good and some bad. There's definitely going to be some plays on film that I need to correct. But I felt more comfortable. I think I made my protection reads good and I have little five yard catch which was nice, so it was pretty good."

St. Pierre should draw back into the line-up this Friday as he comes off the one game injury list, when the Stamps take on the Alouettes in Montreal, with Power returning to a full time role on special teams.
