Picnic at the Piano was a lovely way to round out Alberta Culture Days.

A glorious autumn afternoon and the sound of beautiful piano music in the air enticed an appreciative crowd.

What a great combination and what a great send off for the outdoor piano into storage for the winter.

The crowd soaked up the sun and the sounds of three very talented pianists.

Opening and closing the concert was Rune Vibegaard, playing and singing a variety of styles from Mozart to Arlo Guthrie.

He played and sang several songs, with something for everyone.

Evangeline Mably played and sang for us as well, from Stormy Weather to Chopin and everything in between.

Michele Wheatley-Brown also entertained the audience with pieces from Bach, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Turina and Lamb.
