Annual maintenance on the Okotoks Rec Centre's Riley Minue and Swindell's pools is underway resulting in a week-long closure of the pools.

The Riley Minue (lap) Pool will be closed from August 28 to September 5 and set to re-open on September 6. 

The Swindells (leisure) Pool will also be closed from August 28 to September 8 and is set to re-open on September 9.

During the shutdown, the fitness centre, gymnasium and arenas are still available. 

The town recommends residents check out their drop-in schedule at www.activeokotoks.ca for details on classes, sports and other activities to try while the Aquatic Centre is closed.

Maintenance and repairs are being conducted to ensure the health and safety of the public at the pool.
