The stands were packed with over 1200 spectators on October 26 at the Casman Centre in Fort McMurray for the AJHL matchup, pitting the Okotoks Oilers against the Oil Barons.

It was a close game, but the Oilers manage to beat the Barons at their home ice for the first time in 3 years, 6-5.

Both teams manage to put 31 shots on their respective netminders, with #4 Dylan Holloway having another solid night, scoring two goals with #10 Austin Wong chalking up a goal and an assist.

Some needed support came from #7 Ayden Roche-Setoguchi clocking in three assists with #9 Louis Jamernik also contributing a goal and an assist.

For their next game, the Oilers will be facing the Bonnyville Pontiacs on October 27.

The Pontiacs lost to the Oilers in their last matchup on October 20, but this time they have home ice advantage in the RJ Lalonde Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
