The Okotoks Oilers took on the Camrose Kodiaks Saturday, September 20.

The hard fought battle saw the Oilers and the Kodiaks locked at three to three in the third period.

Oilers forward Louis Jamernik with an assist from Michael Hagen broke open the tie game and eventually earned the Oilers the victory four to three.

AJHL rookie, 19 year-old Michael Hagen earned the MVP of the game with his first goal of his AJHL career and 3 assists, he racked up 4 points on the night to help get his team the win.

Oilers goalie Ashton Abel saw 30 shots throughout the night and turned away 27 of them to help his team secure to victory.

The Oilers hit the ice again Sunday, September 21 when the Canmore Eagles come to town.
