Okotoks Oilers' leading goal scorer last season, #25 Conyr Hellyer is heading to Penticton to play in the BCHL.

The Penticton Vees recently signed him to a contract for the 2023-24 season.

Hellyer spent the last two seasons with the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL.

He led the team last season with 61 points including 30 goals and 31 assists over 48 games.

And in his first season with the team, he put up 32 points in 52 games.

Hellyer also had the chance to play for Team Canada West at the 2022 World Jr A Challenge.

He's committed to Arizona State University.
