The Okotoks Garden Club Plant Share was a booming success! Many individuals attended the plant share held from 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 26. The share included a silent auction and a purchasing station. Be sure to check out the images down below!

With wonderful deals such as plants on sale for as low as two dollars, the proceeds went mainly to the Okotoks Food Bank - a noble and necessary cause!

Karen Keetley was in charge of PR for the event plant share; you can see her pictured above, smiling with some of the beautiful plants on display! Furthermore, Alison and Frances were in charge of donations for the silent auction, the set up, and the smooth operations of the show. The President of the Okotoks Garden Club, Susan Russell, was the chief organizer of the event. Finally, the garden club volunteers and sponsors all helped make the event a great success! Note that volunteers from Holy Trinity Academy were also in attendance, making everyone's Saturday morning a bit brighter by offering everyone some Tim-Bits and free coffee!

The conservation educators were also in attendance at the event, providing attendees with information on water and energy conservation as well as recycling tips to minimize waste. You can find more information on their role on the Town of Okotoks website.

You can find the Eagle Street Team on its next adventure at Bar U Ranch on Sunday, May 27th from 10:00 AM to around noon hour! There are plenty of new exhibits to explore and participate in so make sure you get yourself and your family out there to enjoy the weather and spectacles!
