The Dawgs fell short Wednesday at Ross Wells Park losing 9-5 to the Miller Express.

The Dawgs however had a night at the plate launching 4 home runs in the effort.

The Dawgs have lost 2 straight for the second time this season as they move to 23-7 on the year.

Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University, GA) would launch his 7th home run of the season in the top of the 4th to get the Dawgs on the board. Connor Crowson (University of Montevallo, AL) hit his 3rd home run on the season in the 6th inning and would finish the night going 2 for 5 scoring 1 RBI. Connor Stewart (San Diego City College, CA) would record his 2nd home run of the season in the 5th inning along with Trent Lenihan (UBC) hitting a solo shot, his first on the season in the 5th.

Ryan McFarland (Campbellsville University, KY) would have a short night on the mound for the Dawgs going 1.2 innings allowing 6 runs on 7 hits. Brady Wilson would come on in relief for 2.1 innings striking out 2 and allowing 3 hits and 1 run.

The Dawgs travel to Regina on July 6th to take on the Red Sox, opening pitch set for 7:05 pm.

The Dawgs will wrap up the set at Currie Field in Regina against the Red Sox on July 6th with first pitch scheduled for 7:05pm.
