As the 2026 Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL) season approaches, the Okotoks Dawgs are adding a boost of talent to their roster.  

The club has signed four new players as it prepares for another push toward a WCBL championship.

Right-handed pitchers Grady Keljo from the University of Portland and Tyson Willis from George Mason University are joining the organization for the summer, adding experienced arms to the pitching staff.  

The duo is expected to strengthen an already competitive Dawgs roster heading into the new season.  

Infielder Jeremy Kuiper from the University of Louisiana Lafayette will add versatility to the infield.  

While outfielder Ben Lovering from Chandler-Gilbert Community College will add depth to the Dawgs defensive response.   

“Together, the four signings continue the Dawgs’ trend of recruiting high-level collegiate talent from across North America,” the Okotoks Dawgs said.   

The 2026 season features 56 regular games, followed by three rounds of playoffs. The Dawgs' home opener is May 29.
