Calgary Stampeders fullback, Charlie Power, will be spending some time in jail in Okotoks Saturday.

The Stamps star, and Okotoks native is back in his hometown to help out the food bank in their Jail and Bail" event happening at the Foothills Centennial Centre.

You can head down and help get Charlie out of jail with either a cash or non-perishable food item donation, starting at 10 A.M.

Meanwhile, the Stamps inked a trio of receivers Thursday as they're just a few weeks out from training camp.

With kind of a thin group at receiver this year, these three, which include a couple of imports, and one canadian will likely get a good long look.

Here's the skinny from the Stamps:

The Calgary Stampeders have signed three receivers, national Matthew Norzil and internationals Josh Harper and Jamal Nixon, as free agents.

Matthew Norzil:

Calgary first signed Norzil on October 13, 2015, and he was placed on the practice roster.

He was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the fourth round (30th overall) of the 2015 CFL Canadian Draft.

Norzil attended training camp with the Argos and then signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 23, 2015.

Norzil played 15 games over four seasons at Laval.

He was a Quebec conference all-star in 2012 after making 34 catches for 548 yards and six touchdowns. Norzil added 10 carries for 116 yards.

He was limited to just one game for the Rouge et Or over the 2013 and 2014 seasons due to injuries.

Josh Harper:

Harper signed with the National Football League's Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2015, and attended training camp.

He played four seasons (2011-14) at Fresno State and finished his career second in Bulldogs history with 228 receptions and 29 touchdown catches. He earned first-team all-Mountain West Conference honours as a senior in 2014 after making 90 catches for 1,097 yards and seven touchdowns.

Jamal Nixon:

Nixon played three seasons (2011-13) at Arkansas-Monticello.

As a senior in 2013, he had 50 catches for 503 yards and seven touchdowns for the Boll Weevils as well as 13 kickoff returns for 356 yards.

He played in the post-season USA Football Bowl and earned the Andre Reed Trophy as the Best Div. II receiver in that game after making five catches for 60 yards and one touchdown.
