Okotoks Bowmark Oilers hit the ice today as the Circle K Classic gets underway

The Circle K Classic U18 AAA tournament gets underway today in Calgary.

And once again the Okotoks Bowmark Oilers have laced up for the prestigious tournament.

The tournament was formerly known as the Mac's Midget tournament until it was rebranded three years ago. The tournament has been active since 1978.

Their first game is today, Wednesday Dec. 27 at 4:00 p.m. at the Seven Chiefs 1 arena as the Oilers take on the St. Louis AAA Blues

The tourney has eight pools with four teams each.  The Okotoks Bowmark Oilers are in Pool 6 along with the St. Louis AAA Blues, Valley West Giants and the Northern Alberta Xtreme. 

The preliminary rounds wrap up on Saturday Dec. 30th with the playoffs scheduled for Dec. 31st and January 1st, 2024.
