The Okotoks Bisons unseated the Sherwood Park Knights 6-3 on Friday night.

It's the host club Bisons third win and they are now the only undefeated team at the Alberta Hockey U21 Provincial tournament.

Jake Snashall scored first for the Herd at the 7:33 mark with Adrien Belanger getting the team out to a 2-0 lead at 12:04.  The team went to the first intermission up 2-0 with Jaevon Buschlen adding the Bisons third goal before the first minute of the second period.  Sherwood Park would finally get on the scoresheet with a goal at the 2:32 mark but Snashall would net his second goal of the night less than four minutes later to regain the three-goal cushion at 4-1.  The Knights would reply at 16:53 to pull within two goals and the second period ended with the Bisons up 4-2.

The Knights would once more mount a charge and get within one goal with just under four minutes left in the game to 4-3.  However, the Bisons would make short work of the momentum shift with Buschlen pocketing his second goal of the game at 16:40 and then Ethan MacIntyre scored just 11 seconds later for a 6-3 score which would be the final tally of the night.

Snashall had a pair of goals and a helper with Buschlen also picking up two goals while Kegan Law added three assists to his stats.

And for the second consecutive game it was Dylan Fries with the win saving 26 of the 29 shots he faced between the pipes for the Okotoks Jr B team. Fries had a shutout in Thursday's game.

The other games from Friday saw a team from the Heritage B Junior Hockey League get their first win of the tournament.

Sylvan Lake managed to wrangle the CBHA Rangers 5-4 handing the Rangers their first loss in the process and the Wainwright Bisons shutout the Fort St John Huskies 5-0 for their second win of the tourney.
