The 2023 Alberta Summer Games wrapped up in Okotoks and Black Diamond, aka Diamond Valley on Sunday July 23.

And Foothills athletes from zone 2 - Big Country brought home a lot of medals.

Out of the seven zones across the province our zone came in third overall with 35 gold, 47 silver and 38 bronze medals.

There were 14 sports spread out across the three days.
