The Okotoks Oilers ended the 2015 half of the AJHL season with a 5-0 win in Camrose over the Kodiaks Saturday night.

Five different Oilers lit the lamp in the win, while netminder Riley Morris picked up his second shut-out of the season putting aside 22 shots.

The Oilers wind up their season series against the Kodiaks winning four of the six games they've played head to head.

But it hasn't translated in the standings as the third place Oilers trail the second place Kodiaks by 11 points Iin the AJHL South Division heading into the break.

And after back to back losses to Brooks Thursday and Friday the Oilers are 15 back of them for top spot, and without some kind of divine intervention, likely won't be catching up to them in the last couple of months of the season.

The Oilers get back at it Saturday, January 2 at home when the Canmore Eagles come to town.
