The Okotoks Oilers kept it in the win column yesterday as they hosted the Calgary Canucks taking the game with a score of 2 to 1.

After a scoreless first period Oiler, Louis Jamernik was the first to put a mark on the board early in the second period.

Then Tucker McRae shot one in late in the second, moving the score to 2 to 0 for the Oilers going into the third.

It was a goalless battle through most of the third period when Max Mazur found the net for the Canucks finishing the game with a score of 2 to 1 for the Oilers.

The Oilers host the Drumheller Dragons this afternoon at 4:15 pm at Pason arena.
