The Okotoks Oilers hosted the Whitecourt Wolverines last night and won 5 to 3.

The Oilers dominated in the first period with goals scored by Brandon Machado and Zane Kindrachuk.

Jack Works was all over it in the second period scoring 2 goals putting the Oilers ahead 4 to 0 until Cassidy Bowes took advantage of a power play and scored the first point of the game for the Wolverines.

The third period had both teams trading goals back and forth but the Wolverines couldn't catch up and the Oilers took the game with a score of 5 to 3.

The next game for the Oilers is at Pason Arena on Saturday, December 7th against the Calgary Canucks. The game starts at 7 pm.
