The Okotoks Oilers and the Spruce Grove Saints took to the ice last night.

Sadly, the Oilers couldn't clinch it in overtime, and fell to the Saints 3-4.

The Oilers opened the scoring and were up by 2 after the second period, but the Saints responded in the 3rd with two consecutive goals.

Both teams would get one more goal each to push the game into overtime, where the Saints closed out the night with the winning goal.

This loss puts the Oilers record at 9 and 3 for the season so far, holding second place in their division.

The Oilers will have another shot at victory on Tuesday, against the Canmore Eagles.
