The Okotoks Oilers managed a 2-1 win in the shoot-out over the Camrose Kodiaks Tuesday, December 6, at home.

The win moves the Oilers three points up on the Kodiaks for third spot in the AJHL's South Division.

Tanner Laderoute got the winner in the shoot-out and says it'll give them a boost heading into their game Friday, December 9, against the Calgary Canucks.

"No matter what happens in the game, you play bad or whatever, it's a tight game. Getting two points is always a big rally moment. So, we'll be going in there confident, but not cocky."

The Oilers trail the second place Canucks by five points.
