The Okotoks Oilers are among the lucky few still slated to hit the ice this weekend after the AHS restrictions devastated sports across the province.

Only three leagues are exempt from AHS's closures the AJHL, ACAC and Usports according to Hockey Alberta's Release.

The Oilers still have a trio of games to play as they head to Calgary Friday night for game one of their season against the Canucks before heading down to Olds for a match with the Grizzlys on Sunday, November 15th.

Their third and final game of the "weekend" will go on Monday, November 16th back in Calgary for a rematch with the Cancuks.

The Oil still plans on hosting their home opener on November 22nd against the Camrose Kodiaks.
