The Okotoks Oilers lost 4-3 to the Olds Grizzlys at the Pason Centennial Arena yesterday.

The Oilers held a 3-1 lead with five minutes to play, but two late goals from the Grizzlys sent the game to overtime.

Marc Pasemko opened the scoring for the Oilers near the end of the first period, but Olds tied the game after a quick goal only one minute into the second frame.

A power play goal from Brandon Machado halfway through the second gave the Oilers a 2-1 lead, and Louis Jamernik extended the lead to two when he scored early in the third.

Brady Parker was between the pipes for Okotoks last night. He made 33 saves on 37 shots.

Next up, the Oilers will host the league-leading Brooks Bandits on Friday.
