The Okotoks Oilers won both their games this weekend, first with their win against the Camrose Kodiaks Friday night and then their overtime win against the Brooks Bandits Saturday.

The Oilers and Bandits went into overtime with a 1-1 tie; Trey DeGraaf scored in overtime winning the game.

Oilers goalie Riley Morris says that the Oilers played well, and that is what won them the game.

"We started off hot, we fronted a lot of pucks, moved a lot of guys out front, let me see a lot of pucks I faced and we just grinded this one to a win."

Morris adds that the Oilers is one of the best teams he has been a part of, and he has a lot of fun being in net for them.

"We show a lot of character with this win tonight, and especially last night coming back and scoring four goals in the third."

Looking forward to Tuesday's game against the Calgary Mustangs Morris says that you have to be focused and prepared.

"We all know anyone can beat anyone on any given night, and we just have to show up like we did these last four games."
