The issue of the smell from Rimrock Feeders is expected to be front and centre again Monday afternoon when High River council meets.

Members of the Natural Resources Conservation Board will appear before council.

They'll be on hand to explain how they take air samples and what they can do about the feedlot, as a provincial authority.

Council got to hear from the operators of Rimrock Feeders and local residents at their last meeting Sept. 12 about the smell coming from the feedlot.

Many in that audience wanted more details on just how the NRCB monitors the smell that emanates from the feedlot and have concerns about whether the feedlot intends to expand and grow.

The meeting starts at 3:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
