Happy National CD PLAYER DAY!😎

A day to appreciate the most popular way to listen to music! (between the 80's and 90's of course!)

Before the CD/CD Player came cassettes and after came good ole MP3's!

Remember Limewire and the one million viruses your computer got from downloading ONE song!? (Those were the days...) Haha I swear my computer just got a virus from just typing the word Limewire...😅

But back to CD's and their players, they seemed so perfect at the time, so simple, so sleek (until you scratched the crap out of it lol), so futuristic and now they're just a thing of the past.

A little history for ya here, did you know on this day the first EVER CD was released...can you guess what it was?

Billy Joel's '52nd Street"! (Wish I could comment more on this but gotta admit this one's before my time y'all lol.)

Anyways, let's have some fun! Let me know what your first ever, Vinyl, Casette, 8-Track, CD, MP3 download was in the comments.

I'm not 100% sure what my first CD was but I can tell you that this one was on heavy rotation from a very young age:

What it felt like listening to AQUA as a 7 year old kid (below)😂

Enjoy reminiscing! 😜
