HAPPY NATIONAL SUPER HERO DAY! 😃

I know a lot of my blogs have been about "national fun holidays" lately but I couldn't pass this one up!

Today we get to recognize our favorite superheroes whether they are REAL or FICTIONAL.

But wouldn't be great if we got to show love to some of our favorite superheros (that don't necessarily wear a cape) in our community!

This could be anyone from your parent, a volunteer, a front line worker, a friend, a mentor - anyone that is a HERO in your eyes deserves a shout out today (and everyday)!

So I just want to thank EVERYONE, of course, that is doing their part during this pandemic and just in everyday life.

To the people that are offering free services that are keeping people entertained while isolated.

To the people exposing themselves daily to Covid-19 to help keep our community going.

To the people who are helping to relay the facts and keep everyone informed during these strange times.

To the people who simply smile or say a quick and pleasant hello to someone passing on the street. (The smallest things could keep someone going!)

To the people that motivate you and keep you feeling like you can accomplish anything.

To the people who give back to their communities.

To the people out there saving lives.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR HEROES!😄

I wanted to give my superhero shout out to Minds Matter with Foothills School Division - they have a movement going on right now called "Super Human Shout outs" and it is seriously the coolest. Follow them on Instagram to see daily shout outs to the super humans in our community that are doing the most during this time!

They are recognizing heroes in the Foothills but I think they need to be recognized too as they are also a hero.

As for fictional superheros - my picks go to the Flash and Spiderman haha.😜

But please comment and even post pictures of your SUPER HERO. Real or fictional, I will take both haha but would love to see the real hero in your life!

Remember all heroes don't necessarily wear capes!

~Shayne on Midday 😊
