It just wasn't meant to be for the Nanton Palominos this season.
The two time defending Ranchland Hockey League Champs were going for their second straight Provincial Senior Men's "AA" title Sunday at home against the Daysland Northstars.
But it was the Northstars coming out on top with a 3-0 win in the final to claim the crown, while the Palominos had to settle for silver.
