No one was injured Sunday when RCMP were called to an incident south of High River.

According to Constable Jill Kingdon-Mills, the original call came in for an evolving high-risk event.

She says the RCMP took appropriate steps in deploying the Emergency Response Team and police dog service to deal with the incident as it was reported.

"It was determined not to be the high-risk situation that it was originally reported."

No criminal charges were laid.

"The incident was resolved successfully, peacefully, and thankfully no injuries to the public or police," she said.
