A special commemoration was held recently to honour a long-time Legion member in High River.
Rae Lunn passed away at the age of 100 in March of 2021.
To recognize his time in the military, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71, as part of National Legion Week, placed a bench at the old RCAF training site just off 498th Avenue.
The plaque is also dedicated to the memory of all those who served.
