The Nanton Palominos are in a must win situation tonight as they battle it out for the Ranchland Senior AA Men's Hockey League championship.

The Palominos faced off against the Lethbridge Lightning at the Tom Hornecker arena in game three of their best-of-five series Friday night.

The Lightning skated away with a 2-1 win but it took overtime to do it.  You can watch the entire game here.

The Lightning got on the board first scoring late in the second period to take a 1-nothing lead into the third period.

And the Pals tied up with on an unassisted goal from Bradley Forrest just 33 seconds into the third to knot it up.

They two teams barely got underway in the five-on-five sudden death overtime when the Lightning's Mitchell McAllister ripped one in just 29 seconds in.

The Lightning now lead two-games-to-one in the best-of-five championship series.

And now both teams will lace up tonight in Lethbridge for game four at 8:15 p.m. 

The Pals are in a must win situation and if they win tonight it'll all come down to game five at 6:15 in Lethbridge at the ATB Centre East rink.
