John Dozeman is the 'newest' member of Nanton's town council.

But he's not new to the position as he served as a councillor after the previous municipal election in 2017.

A by-election was called after long serving councillor Terry Wickett passed away in December of 2021.

Dozeman won't officially be a councillor until he's sworn in.

He'll be going back to a position he's familiar with as he was a former town councillor.
