Nanton's Clay Elliot has a brand new giant sized belt buckle, and a big fat wallet Monday morning thanks to his big win at the Canadian Finals Rodeo Sunday, November 14.

Elliot scored an 85, good enough for second spot Sunday, but it was enough to give him the title of Saddle Bronc Champ, as he now sets his sights on the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in December.

Stavley's Sam Kelts finished well behind Elliot in seventh spot in the saddle bronc.

Strathmore's Scott Schiffner, finished sixth in bull riding on the final day of the CFR.

Millarville's Toni Dixon was fifth in ladies barrel racing.

Nanton's Logan Bird was sixth in tie down roping.

In team roping, Mossleigh's Kasper Roy and Longview's Steele DePaoli were second in Sunday's final go-round, while Chase Simpson from Claresholm and Roland McFadden fro Vulcan were fifth.

While Arrowwood's, Jeremy Buhler, along with Nanton's Rocky Dallyn and Okotoks, Clint Buhler, all finished out of the money.

And in bareback, Okotoks Pascall Isabelle was eighth.
