The third night of races took place Saturday night at the High River Guy Weadick days.

It was a tough night of races for local drivers.

Okotoks Mark Sutherland got moved up to the first spot in the aggregate after a total 3 night run of 3:54:14.

Sutherland says that he was out ran in his heat because he was out turned.

"I made an error while I was turning and didn't turn very fast, but we were clean and the outriders were doing there job especially on a difficult track."

The difficulty of the track was because of the weather conditions which made the track extremely muddy.

How ever with the tough conditions Saturday night the move was not because of that run totally.

"We moved into first tonight but it was really Thursday and Friday night that did it off of barrels three and four," Sutherland says.

Sutherland will be running off of barrel 2 during Sunday nights final.

"You have to plan it off how the horses look and feel, basically I am going to try to stick with the outfit but we will have to wait and see."
