"They definitely were glad to see it come to fruition. With only a few glitches with cell and wifi service, but we were able to get a booster in there that enabled most of the vendors to get wifi. It's something we will have to get figured out for next year." said McKee.

The Millarville Christmas Market is a season starter for many Foothills residence and attendance proved even poor weather doesn't stop people from showing up.

McKee, says the kids only shopping was a big hit that raises money for a worthy cause. "We had lots of people out and the kids only shopping did really great. So we'll be able to donate money raised for the 6 foothills schools for their hot lunch program."

McKee says on average they get about 16,000 people out and this year was on par with other years.
